Springfield, MO – Mid-West Family Broadcasting is proud to announce Valorie Rogers (aka Valorie Knight) as Cluster Operations Manager and Program Director of Springfield’s Rock Station Q102! Valorie arrives from Scripps Springfield, Mo where she served as Operations Manager over Journal Broadcast Group’s 4 station cluster, since 2008.
Knight has gathered experience in Rock, Country, AAA, AC, Top 40 and News Talk after 17 years of radio experience. Born and raised in Kansas City, MO, Valorie attended Central Missouri State University in Warrensburg, MO, where she graduated with a Broadcasting and Film Degree, gaining her Master’s Degree in Communications from MSU in 2015, where she is also an adjunct professor.
Knight was the afternoon driver and Music Director on legendary Active Rocker KQRC for 8 years before moving to mornings on KRBZ in Kansas City. Knight has programmed rock stations WGIR, Manchester, NH and WQLZ in Springfield, IL, while also signing on a successful AAA for the same Mid-West Family cluster.
